Dr. Yusen Guan received his traditional Chinese medicine training in China, where he built a foundation in classical Daoist medical theory and clinical practice. Over the past 15 years, he has treated thousands of patients, specializing in chronic pain, neurological conditions, and internal medicine.

His signature approach integrates Python Needle (蟒针) and Knife Needle (针刀) techniques — advanced methods for accessing deep meridians and releasing stubborn soft-tissue restrictions. He has published research on the clinical application of Python Needle therapy and continues to refine his craft.

In addition to acupuncture, Dr. Guan is skilled in herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, Tui Na, and electro-acupuncture. He believes that true healing addresses the whole person — not just symptoms — and works with each patient to build a sustainable path to long-term wellness.
